Head Coach- Duke Barther

Coach Barther is entering his 11th year as the head coach at Midpak, and his 15th year coaching at the school. Prior to coming to Midpark High School, Barther played two years of basketball at Baldwin Wallace College. He graduated in 1994 with a major in History and a Social Studies Comprehensive teaching certificate.

As the head coach at Midpark, Coach Barther has a career record of 120 wins and 95 losses. During that tenure, his teams have won three conference championships (most in school history) and have broken over 40 school records. The team he guided in 2004-05 recorded the only undefeated regular season (20-0) in school history. Three of his teams have finished the season in the top 15 of the Plain Dealer Poll. Individually, he has been named Conference Coach of the Year three times and Northeast Ohio Coach of the Year once.

Assistant Coach- Troy Trzebeckowski

Coach Trzebeckowski is entering his sixth season with the Meteors. With his help, during his tenure, the Meteors have compiled a record of 80 wins and only 29 losses.

Prior to becoming the assistant at Midpark, Coach Trzebeckowski coached both the junior varsity and freshmen squads at Berea High School.

Coach Trzebeckowski is a 1998 graduate of Baldwin Wallace College and is currently a teacher at Ford Middle School.

Assistant Coach- Ed Pavicic

Coach Pavicic is entering his 11th season as volunteer assistant at Midpark High School.

Prior to coaching at Midpark, Coach Pavicic was the head girls coach at his alma mater,  Fairview High School. During his reign at Fairview, he guided the Lady Warriors to their best season ever.

Coach Pavicic is a 1995 graduate of Baldwin Wallace College where he was a three year letter winner for the Yellow Jackets.

Assistant Coach- Dan Giancola

Coach Giancola has been a part of Coach Barther's staff in some capacity for the past 11 seasons.

Coach Giancola has been a head coach at Fairview High School, Letonia High School, and Antwerp High School. At all three schools, he has guided his teams to successes.

Coach Giancola is a graduate of Defiance.

Junior Varsity Coach- Dan Zolkowski

Coach Zolkowski is entering his sixth season as a coach at Midpark High School and his second year as the Junior Varsity coach after previously working at the Freshmen level.

As the freshmen coach, Zolkowskis' teams have won two conference championships, and learned valuable skills to be able to successfully help the varsity program later in their playing careers.

Coach Zolkowski is a graduate of St. Francis College, where he played varsity soccer for four seasons.

Freshmen Coach- Dave McFarland 

Coach McFarland will be coaching the freshmen squad this season in his second year with Meteor's program.

Coach McFarland has coached twelve years as a freshmen basketball coach, including stops at Reynoldsburg, his alma mater Elyria Catholic, and most recently, Berea High School.

He is currently the head football coach at Oberlin High School.
